Argon arc welder — Prairie County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Prairie County, Arkansas. Day to day you will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
