Vacancy available: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Sonoma County, California. You will work at a steel fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes The role involves: • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
