Steel fixing chargehand — Judith Basin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Judith Basin County, Montana. You will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers. What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates Six days a week, one day off. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
