Gas meter installer • Moray, Scotland

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Moray, Scotland. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. You will test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer £2,550 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
