Aluminium tig welder — Carroll County

Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Carroll County, Missouri. You will work in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Day-to-day duties: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits.
