Immediate opening: we are hiring a laundry presser in Centre County, Pennsylvania. Requirements: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Your main tasks: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Give each garment a final press before packing • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
