Now hiring: landscape gardener (Iowa)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a landscape gardener in Decatur County, Iowa. The job is at a private estate garden. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Your main tasks: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
