We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering and concrete hand in Rio Blanco County, Colorado. You will be based at an infrastructure site. Ideal candidate: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods The role involves: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
