Furniture maker — East Riding of Yorkshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furniture maker in East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work Day-to-day duties: • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
