Commercial painter wanted in Grant County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a commercial painter in Grant County, Kansas. You will work in a factory paint shop. Requirements: • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Reliable, punctual and tidy on site • Sound knowledge of surface prep and the right primers Your main tasks: • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Fill cracks and nail holes with filler and caulk the gaps • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
