Cnc turning machinist — Bamberg County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc turning machinist in Bamberg County, South Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Load and index turning tools in the turret What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
