The role involves keep pace with the takt time and pass the unit to the next station; wear an ESD wrist strap when handling circuit boards; carry out a visual quality check for scratches, gaps and missing parts; report jams or tool faults to the line leader straight away; clean down the workstation and keep it to 5S standard; pick the correct parts from the kit bins and feed them to the line. Requirements: • Previous experience on a production or assembly line preferred • Careful handling of tools and components • Basic understanding of quality checks and 5S Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
