The role involves follow fixed pick-up and drop-off routes to a set timetable; drive defensively through heavy traffic and bad weather; report mechanical faults and dents to the depot office; make sure everyone is seated and belted before moving off; help elderly and disabled passengers board and alight safely; carry out pre-trip checks on tyres, brakes, lights and mirrors.
