Vacancy available: we are hiring a retail butcher in Perkins County, South Dakota. The job is at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. You should have: • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler On a typical shift you will break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; season and marinate meat on request; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. We offer $4,500 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
