Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar installer in Saint Charles Parish, Louisiana. The job is on a busy residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules You will form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
