Now hiring: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Fauquier County, Virginia. You will work on a structural steel site. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols Your main tasks: • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
