Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Cole County, Missouri. The job is at a rebar fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Day-to-day duties: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
