Shuttering fixer — Transylvania County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Transylvania County, North Carolina. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. You should have: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules On a typical shift you will brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb.
