Gas meter installer wanted in Walker County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Walker County, Georgia. The job is in a gas distribution network. You should have: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Driving licence for travel between sites • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Your main tasks: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points 5+ years on the tools preferred.
