Glass and glazing technician — Portage County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Portage County, Wisconsin. Day to day you will read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; measure window and door openings and order glass to size; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames. Requirements: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Physically fit, able to stand and lift throughout the shift Full-time with occasional weekends.
