Join our team: cnc lathe setter (Kansas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Rice County, Kansas. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Day to day you will read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; load and index turning tools in the turret. 6+ years on the tools preferred. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
