Industrial sewing operator — Jim Wells County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Jim Wells County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory $24 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
