Join our team: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Alger County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience On a typical shift you will couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels. We offer $22 per hour plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
