Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Sullivan County, Missouri. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates The role involves: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust Pay around $3,400 per month, based on your experience.
