Now hiring: we are hiring a delivery rider in Leelanau County, Michigan. You will work at a logistics despatch centre. Requirements: • Smartphone with a working data connection for the delivery app • Basic reading and number skills to handle addresses and cash • Ability to ride safely in heavy traffic and in monsoon rain Your main tasks: • Collect cash-on-delivery (COD) payments and reconcile the float at shift end • Scan the barcode on every consignment before pick-up and after drop-off • Capture proof of delivery with a customer signature or photo on the handset • Load and balance parcels safely in the rear carrier box • Collect parcels and documents from the despatch hub at the start of each shift • Keep the delivery bag and box clean and hygienic for food orders $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
