Urgent requirement: we are hiring a press shop operator in Greenwood County, South Carolina. You will work at a busy press shop. On a typical shift you will clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; set up and change stamping dies and tooling. You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Full-time with occasional weekends. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
