Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welder in Hennepin County, Minnesota. The job is on an industrial construction site. On a typical shift you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Own basic hand tools and PPE Part-time with flexible hours. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
