Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in La Plata County, Colorado. Day-to-day duties: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,000 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
