Urgent requirement: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Dare County, North Carolina. The job is on a structural steel site. Day to day you will grind back and re-weld any defective runs; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Willing to work shifts and overtime 6+ years on the tools preferred.
