The role involves: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics Requirements: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory Part-time with flexible hours.
