Now hiring: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Henderson County, Illinois. You will work at a powder coating unit. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process On the job you will handle: • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat Part-time with flexible hours.
