Immediate opening: gypsum plasterer (Alaska)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Juneau City and Borough, Alaska. You will be based at a new-build housing development. You will polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
