Join our team: furnace operator (Wyoming)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a furnace operator in Hot Springs County, Wyoming. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. On a typical shift you will prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
