Join our team: foundry labourer (Arkansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Ashley County, Arkansas. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. You should have: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings You will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
