Great opportunity: lifting rigger (Borno State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Kala-Balge, Borno State. You will work at a shipyard. You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites You will calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. 6+ years on the tools preferred. ₦250,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
