Fettler • Mubi North, Adamawa State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fettler in Mubi North, Adamawa State. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. The role involves: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 2+ years on the tools preferred. ₦12,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
