We are recruiting: we are hiring a captain waiter in Clark County, Wisconsin. The job is in a café. Day-to-day duties: • Lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery • Handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager • Raise the bill on the POS and settle cash and card payments • Greet guests, seat them and present the menu • Clear and reset tables between covers • Polish glasses, cutlery and crockery during mise en place What we are looking for: • Familiarity with POS billing and order-taking systems • Ability to carry loaded trays and stay on your feet for long shifts Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
