Requirements: • Own set of hand tools • Confident using diagnostic scan tools On a typical shift you will replace alternators, starter motors and batteries; service and replace timing belts and chains; diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool; estimate repair costs and order the right parts; check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid.
