Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Otsego County, New York. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day to day you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
