Concrete labourer — City of Martinsville

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete labourer in City of Martinsville, Virginia. You will be based on a residential housing site. What we are looking for: • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites On a typical shift you will bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up; stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker. We offer $32 per hour plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
