Bar bender and fixer wanted in Spalding County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Spalding County, Georgia. On the job you will handle: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Six days a week, one day off.
