Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Geauga County, Ohio. On a typical shift you will back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding. You should have: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 1+ years on the tools preferred.
