Vacancy available: we are hiring a fettler in Comanche County, Oklahoma. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Your main tasks: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
