Join our team: wheel loader operator (Northern Ireland)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in City of Belfast, Northern Ireland. You will work at a plant hire yard. Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery The role involves: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations Six days a week, one day off.
