Now hiring: CNC milling operator (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Macoupin County, Illinois. You will work at an automotive components factory. The role involves: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T 1+ years on the tools preferred.
