Great opportunity: wood machinist (Indiana)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a wood machinist in Marshall County, Indiana. You will be based in a cabinet-making workshop. You will build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Own basic hand tools • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience 1+ years on the tools preferred. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
