Urgent requirement: vertical transportation technician (New Mexico)

Join our team: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. The role involves: • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Requirements: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards 2+ years on the tools preferred.
