Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Simpson County, Mississippi. The job is at a heating and plumbing contractor. What we are looking for: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious You will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray.
