Pipe tig welder wanted in Oktibbeha County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Oktibbeha County, Mississippi. You will be based on an industrial construction site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) You will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding.
