Urgent requirement: fusing press operator (New Jersey)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Sussex County, New Jersey. You will work at a textile finishing unit. The role involves: • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases Six days a week, one day off.
